I am delighted to extend a personal invitation to you on behalf of the Organizing Committee for the seventh International Workshop on UV Materials and Devices (IWUMD 2024). It is with great pleasure that we invite you to join us from June 2nd to 5th, 2024, in the vibrant and captivating city of Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C.
The world of ultraviolet materials and technology have witnessed remarkable growth and transformative breakthroughs in recent years. As we embark on this workshop, it is crucial to create a platform where the brightest minds can exchange knowledge, share their research findings, and collaborate on future initiatives. This workshop will serve as a hub for fostering interdisciplinary discussions, encouraging the exploration of new ideas, and fostering synergistic partnerships. Our program will feature a diverse range of presentations, plenary speeches, invited talks, panel discussions, and interactive sessions that will delve into various aspects of ultraviolet materials and devices. From fundamental research to practical applications, we aim to cover a broad spectrum of topics, including material synthesis, device fabrication, characterization techniques, optical properties, optoelectronic devices, UV sensing, and many more. Not only, we have a special section; power devices: SiC, GaN and Ga2O3 relative materials and devices this year. This workshop will provide an excellent opportunity for participants to engage in networking activities, fostering connections and collaborations that can shape the future of the field. We encourage you to take advantage of this platform to interact with fellow researchers, establish new partnerships, and explore avenues for collaboration that can further accelerate the progress of ultraviolet technology.
